Rogue Theater will present Cookouts and One-Acts Oct. 3-4 and 10-11. Prior to each Saturday performance, join Rogue for a cookout, 4-5 pm. The cost for a brat or hot dog, chips, cookie and water is $5.
The performances will include two one-act plays. Lola DeVillers and Stuart Champeau will bring to life the story of a couple we can all relate to in Post-Its, by Paul Dooley and Winnie Holzman. This cleverly written play spotlights the ups and downs of life in witty, sharp dialogue.
Then Jamie Buesing and Dan Sallinen will perform Lauri Wylie’s hilarious Dinner for One. Based on the classic TV sketch, it shares the astonishing story of James and Miss Sophie’s anniversary celebrations.
Rogue Theater’s fall drive-in theater will be held in the north parking lot of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Sturgeon Bay. Actors use microphones plugged into a radio receiver so that patrons can enjoy the show from their vehicles. Saturday shows are at 5 pm; Sunday shows are at 2 pm. All shows are weather permitting.
Tickets are $10 per adult, $5 per student and $30 per car. Find out more by calling 920.818.0816, emailing [email protected] or following the theater on Facebook at facebook.com/roguetheater.
