Roy Oshkosh, Door County Ambassador

Chief Roy Oshkosh in full regalia. Oshkosh, chief of the Menominee Indian tribe, was one of Egg Harbor’s most colorful characters and respected citizens. He was an early Door County ambassador and built the Chief Oshkosh Trading Post on the south edge of the village.
