Roy Pirrung to Run Wild

Ultra-marathoner Roy Pirrung will attend a meet and greet for runners of the Potawatomi State Park Run Wild Friday night at the Bridgeport Resort in Sturgeon Bay.

Pirrung is fresh off a busy summer of running in which he completed a 1000k running series in Italy over three weeks. The meet and greet is at 8 pm Friday, while the Run Wild is held Saturday morning, Oct. 1, at 10 am. The event features a 10k run, 3-mile run/walk and a 1/3-mile Smokey Bear Fun Run for ages 4 – 10.
