‘Sage-ing’ and CPR Classes

The Northern Door Health & Wellness Ministry (NorthernDoorHealthWellness.com) continues its Community Health Information Programs with “Sage-ing” on June 23, 4 pm, at First Baptist Church in Sister Bay. Trish Black, a certified Sage-ing leader, will discuss growing older with wisdom, dignity and grace.

The ministry also offers free blood-pressure screenings monthly on the second Tuesday, 8:15-10:15 am, at the Northern Door YMCA in Fish Creek; and at the Loaves & Fishes meal on the fourth Tuesday, 5 pm, at the Stella Maris Parish in Sister Bay.

The Sister Bay & Liberty Grove Fire Department is partnering with the American Safety & Health Institute to offer classes about how to properly use an AED and perform CPR. The four-hour classes will teach infant, child and adult CPR and offer a two-year certification.

They will take place June 20, July 18, Aug. 15, Sept. 19 and Oct. 17, 6-10 pm, at the Sister Bay Fire Station on Mill Road. The cost is $30 per person. To register, leave a message at 920.854.4021 or email [email protected].
