Door County ADRC Hosts Intro to Sage-ing Course

When Social Security began in 1935, men had a life expectancy of 58 and women had a life expectancy of 62. Today we’ve been blessed with an additional 20 to 25 years of life, many of which are healthy years. The big question is, how do we live these years to make them the most meaningful and fulfilling?

Sage-ing International offers a new perspective on aging by encouraging each participant to embrace the gifts of growing older and truly step into the role of wise elder to share the immense wisdom gleaned from life experiences.

During the Introduction to Sage-ing course — Dec. 11, 10 am, at the ADRC, 916 N. 14th Ave. in Sturgeon Bay — learn how to fully embrace the rest of your life with wisdom, dignity and grace through life review, harvesting wisdom and creating legacy.

The course is free, but advance registration is requested. Register by calling 920.746.2372.
