Salute to Veterans Dinner Honors Sturgeon Bay Veterans

The Catholic community of the greater Sturgeon Bay area, in cooperation with the Door County Veterans Office, will honor Sturgeon Bay-area veterans during the second annual Salute to Veterans dinner and program Nov. 9, 5 pm, at the Corpus Christi Parish’s social hall. Each veteran and a spouse or friend are invited to enjoy the festivities as guests. The program will include dinner, presentation of colors, entertainment and a keynote speaker. 

Two complimentary tickets will be distributed to Sturgeon Bay-area veterans on a first-come, first-served basis through Oct. 15 at St. Joseph and Corpus Christi in Sturgeon Bay, Sts. Peter & Paul in Institute, Holy Name of Mary in Maplewood, and the Door County Veterans Office. Members of the Sturgeon Bay community who wish to attend may purchase any remaining tickets beginning Oct. 16 for $15 per person at the parish offices. All proceeds from the Salute to Veterans event will stay in Door County to assist veterans. A raffle drawing will be held to win a large print titled “Lambeau in Red, White and Blue.”
