Sawyer Seeks Miss America Crown Jan. 15

Miss Wisconsin Kimberly Sawyer will compete for the Miss America crown Jan. 15 in Las Vegas.

Sawyer, an Egg Harbor native and Gibraltar High School graduate, is the daughter of John and Jackie Sawyer. Husby’s Food and Spirits of Sister Bay will host a Miss America party the night of the pageant to root Kimberly on. Husby’s, owned by John Sawyer, will feature drink specials and free champagne the night of the competition with festivities kicking off at 7 pm.

The 23-year-old Sawyer is a 2009 graduate of St. Norbert College and currently works as a business analyst for a supply chain management and fuel consulting company in De Pere.

The Miss America pageant will be televised at 8 pm, Jan. 15, on ABC.
