Sevastopol Announces Valedictorian and Salutatorian

Sevastopol High School’s Class of 2019 valedictorian is Ashley Ellefson, the daughter of Amy and Lance Ellefson; and the salutatorian is Reetika Jandu, the daughter of Parvinder and Renuka Jandu.

Ellefson has maintained a 4.0 GPA and participated in a variety of extracurricular activities in school and in the community. She will attend UW-Green Bay to obtain a bachelor of science degree in nursing and plans to continue her education in graduate school with the goal of becoming a nurse practitioner.

Jandu was recognized throughout high school with academic high honors and has been involved in numerous extracurricular activities in and out of Sevastopol High School. She co-founded the school’s Multicultural Club and was its president during her junior and senior years. She was also class president her freshman, sophomore and junior years and class vice president as a senior. Jandu has not yet chosen a college, but she plans pre-medicine studies.
