Sheriff Seeks Video of Vehicle Break-ins

The Door County Sheriff’s Office alerted the public on Jan. 9 to a series of vehicle break-ins in the Sister Bay area. 

Chief Deputy/Undersheriff Pat McCarty said there were five vehicle break-ins, and they happened within the village of Sister Bay and just outside it.

The Sheriff’s Office requested the public’s assistance by checking doorbell or surveillance cameras for suspicious vehicles/persons that may have been captured on video after 9 pm, Jan. 8 and into the early morning hours of Jan. 9. The Sheriff’s Office also suggested no one leave valuables of any type in their cars overnight.
