Sibilsky’s Work in Prestigious Salmagundi Club Exhibition

Algoma sculptor Bren Sibilsky has been juried into the Salmagundi Club’s Figuratively Speaking National Exhibition. Founded in 1871, the Salmagundi Club in New York City is one of the oldest and most prestigious art organizations in the country, offering art classes, exhibitions, painting demonstrations and art auctions.

Figuratively Speaking is an open exhibition of portraiture and figurative work in all media that’s running through March 12, with an awards reception March 5.

Sibilsky is currently focusing on several commissions and planning for the 10th annual Lost Wax bronze-casting class at the Algoma Atelier of Sculpture and Art. This year, two weeklong classes will be held in early June. There is a six-student limit per class, so reservations are required. Contact Sibilsky for more details.
