Sign Up Now for Crossroads Trail Run

Register now for the 7th annual Crossroads Trail Run on June 18 at Crossroads at Big Creek in Sturgeon Bay. All 2k, 5k and 10k participants will receive a native shrub, Ninebark, thanks to Evergreen Nursery. Reflecting the Crossroads Trail Run’s mission of promoting green living in our community, Ninebark was chosen this year as the finishers prize due to its red foliage and white cup-shaped flower heads. Once planted it will be around to cherish for years to come.

IMG_7377In addition to being in the great outdoors, every participant will receive a high performance t-shirt and post-run refreshments of Schopf’s Dairy ice cream topped with cherries from Lautenbach’s Orchard Country Winery & Market, and locally baked cookies. Local awards for the 5k and 10k races include maple syrup from Henschel’s Farms, golden honey from Max and Dee’s Honeybees, and handmade Logan Creek soaps. The youth awards were donated by Door County Candy. There is something for everyone.

The trail event takes place on a 200-acre preserve at Crossroads at Big Creek Learning Preserve and Ida Bay Preserve in Sturgeon Bay. This chip-timed event is for all ages, all levels of runners and walkers, and a great family event. Participants ages 7 and younger and 70 and older have free registrations. Start time is 8 am.
