Sister Bay Trustee Candidate Forum Scheduled

For this year’s primary contests in Gardner, Gibraltar, Nasewaupee and Sister Bay, the Peninsula Pulse will introduce readers to the candidates in the Feb. 10 issue. The primary election will take place Feb. 21, and the spring election April 4.

In addition to the Pulse’s election coverage, the League of Women Voters of Door County (LWVDC) is hosting a candidate forum for the seven candidates running for a trustee position on the Sister Bay village board. The forum will take place Wednesday, Feb. 15, 6:30-8 pm, at the Sister Bay Fire Station, 2258 Mill Road. 

Candidates on the primary ballot are Patrice Champeau, Nick Deviley, Vivian Nienow, Lilly Orozco, Andrew Torcivia, Alison Werner and Sarah White. 

The forum is an in-person event, so the LWVDC reserves the right to cancel it if the weather, COVID-19 or unforeseen circumstances warrant it.  

Afterward, the LWVDC will post a link to the recorded forum on its Facebook Page and at lwvdoorcounty.org.
