Songwriters Showcase Honors Mattson

Adam Mackintosh and Anna Sacks bring their songwriter showcase to Woodwalk Gallery and Events Barn to celebrate the graduation of Mary Mattson, Summa Cum Laude from UWGB, on May 17 from 1 – 5 pm.

The showcase features on open mic for singer/songwriters with the requirement that the performers sing only original music. Mary Mattson will be performing her poetry with Adam Mackintosh accompanying on guitar. She is a dynamic and fiery performer of her original poems.

Mary is daughter of singer Jeanne Kuhns (host of the Woodwalk Concert Series) and sister of Eli Mattson (who was a runner up in America’s Got Talent last year) and Jacob Mattson. Mary is moving to the county to be part of the performance scene after completing an English Major and Arts Management minor.

So come and celebrate, sing, dance and listen to the many professional songwriters who participate in these showcases. Please join this public event and enjoy wine and snacks and shop at the gallery featuring the wonderful art of artist in residence Margaret Lockwood and 45 other regional artists.
