Southern Door Student Receives Gold Key Award for Sculpture

Southern Door High School senior Mackenzie Finger has earned a Gold Key from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards–Wisconsin Region for her sculpture “Pouring Hope.” The awards are a prestigious recognition by the arts program, which has been showcasing teen artists for decades. As a Gold Key recipient, “Pouring Hope” is also nominated for national-level awards and scholarships. 

The 45th Scholastic Art Awards–Wisconsin Exhibition 2021 will be held online through the Milwaukee Art Museum at mam.org, Feb. 6 – March 21. It will feature all works that received a Gold or Silver Key.
