Southwest Florida Fest Raises $25,000 for Eagle Tower Fund

On Sept. 30, hundreds of people from all over the state, and as far as Texas and Kentucky, came out to support the Eagle Tower project at the first annual Southwest Florida Fest. The highlight of the event was a live auction of repurposed Eagle Tower wood by local artists and carpenters. More than 20 local businesses supported the event with silent auction and raffle gifts and pieces of Eagle Tower were made available for sale to event attendees.

Anyone unable to attend the event who is interested in participating in online bidding of additional pieces or further information on wood sales is asked to visit eagletowerfund.com and provide an email address through the contact form.

Southwest Florida Fest is organized annually to bring together Door County residents who live seasonally in Southwest Florida to meet, mingle and support a charitable organization. This year the event was open to the public. If you are interested in more information about Southwest Florida Fest or to be selected for a future event please email [email protected].
