Special Rate for CTA Classes

These Certified Tourism Ambassadors graduated on April 15 at the High Point Inn.

Seventeen individuals completed the Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) Program offered through the Door County Visitor Bureau on April 15. These Tourism Ambassadors provide quality service and hospitality to visitors, which can result in longer stays, more visits to restaurants, retailers and attractions.

Successfully completing their training and certifying exam were: Rick Meier, Parkwood Lodge; Rachael Christensen, Peninsula State Park; Carey Hale, American Folklore Theatre; Jaclyn Moeri, Parkwood Lodge; Jasmine Penny, Orchard Country Winery & Market; Faye Blank, High Point Inn; Jeff Nieling, Wisconsin DNR; Tim Fuerst, Door County Sheriff’s Department; Emily Tishler, Orchard Country Winery & Market; Melissa Pillsbury, Landmark Resort; DD Knutson, G Mama’s Place; Molly Borndale, Landmark Resort; Sonya Biemeret, High Point Inn; Gina Jones and Vicki Peterson, The Landing Resort; Charity Buhr, Village of Ephraim; and Missy LeBelle, High Point Inn.

There are four more classes in 2014 and the first 100 people to register will be admitted for the special rate of $15. Classes are scheduled for May 20 at Wave Pointe Resort and June 18 at the Trueblood Performing Arts Center on Washington Island.
