Stephanie Trenchard Included in “Breaking the Glass Ceiling”

The art glass of Stephanie Trenchard of Popelka Trenchard Glass in Sturgeon Bay will be included in a group show at the Wayne Art Center in Wayne, Pa., titled Breaking the Glass Ceiling: Women in Glass, which runs Dec. 9 – Jan. 27. The exhibition will survey Trenchard’s work as well as the achievements of a number of other female glass artists from the “Grand Dames” of the 1970s to the “Young Turks” of the 21st century. Popelka Trenchard Glass is open during their holiday hours of 10 am – 5 pm, Monday through Saturday. A holiday glass blowing demonstration is scheduled for Dec. 16, 12 – 1 pm. The demo is free and open to the public.
