Students Practice Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Have you ever wanted to start your own business? Do you have a great idea on how to make money? Are you ready for a challenge? Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) and Southern Door County Schools are offering elementary and middle school students the opportunity to explore careers at the What’s Your Big Idea? Tech Camp at Southern Door High School. Students will present their ideas to a group of potential “investors” in a challenge based on the popular Shark Tank television show. The products or service can already be in existence or their own idea. The students must prove to the experts why their product is a worthy investment. The two-day Tech Camp runs June 20-21 from 9 am to 3 pm each day. Cost is $40. To sign up and see the complete lineup of Tech Camps, visit nwtc.edu/techcamp.
