Sturgeon Bay Residents Help in Hurricane-Hit Areas

Dennis and Lynn Marquardt, Sturgeon Bay residents and Red Cross volunteers, have been in Panama City Beach, Fla., the past two weeks serving hundreds of daily meals at a school, Breakfast Point Academy. With cooking and preparation assistance from community partners, American Red Cross has served more than 1.3 million meals in Florida, Georgia and Alabama since early October when Hurricane Michael hit the Gulf Coast.
