Suicide Awareness Walks Starts National Suicide Prevention Week

Join the 3rd Annual Prevent Suicide Door County Nathan Wilson Coalition Awareness Walk on Sept. 10. The walk will start off National Suicide Prevention Week, Sept. 9-15. The walk starts at Martin Park in Sturgeon Bay. Gather at 5:30 pm and the walk begins at 5:45 pm. Free snacks, wristbands, carabiners, gun locks and prevention information will be available. T-shirts will be available for $5. The walk goes across the Oregon Street Bridge to the stop light and heads back across the Michigan Street Bridge to the park.

The Prevent Suicide Door County Nathan Wilson Coalition is committed to reduce the number of suicides in Door County through prevention education, public awareness and overcoming stigma.
