Tad Dukehart Named Ephraim’s Fyr Bal Chieftain

The Ephraim Business Council revealed a new Chieftain honor display to commemorate past Fyr Bal Chieftains during the 54th annual Fyr Bal Festival June 16. The display was a collaborative effort with the new Ephraim business Clink! DIY Craft Studio. Each year, the newly elected Chieftain’s name will be added to the “flame” plaques on the piece. The display can be viewed at the Ephraim Visitor Information Center.

This year, Tad Dukehart was announced as the 54th Chieftain. Dukehart was honored for his contributions to the Village of Ephraim, which includes his involvement in several village committees, the Ephraim Volunteer Fire Department, as well as being a tour guide for the Ephraim Historical Foundation. Dukehart also is an avid photographer who is often seen at events throughout the community.
