TAP of Door County Presents the Fairland Bluegrass Band

The Fairland Bluegrass Band will make their first appearance at Third Avenue Playhouse (TAP) on July 30 at 7:30 pm. The five-piece family band has been wowing audiences and receiving rave reviews statewide since the summer of 2008.

From heartfelt ballads to foot-stomping fiddle and banjo tunes, the Door County-based group has taken their own blend of traditional, contemporary, and original bluegrass to some of the biggest festivals in Illinois and Wisconsin.

Dan Rass, a 40-year veteran in the Door County music scene, plays mandolin and guitar. His wife Teri (bass guitar), daughter Calyn (banjo), son-in-law Neil Saindon (guitar) and daughter Hana Grace (fiddle) round out the band.

Tickets for the Fairland Bluegrass Band are $16 for adults, $14 for seniors and students and $8 for children. Tickets are on sale at the theater box office, open Monday through Friday, 10 am – 3 pm, located at 239 N. Third Avenue, Sturgeon Bay and one hour prior to performances.
