Third Avenue Playhouse (TAP) will present Lanford Wilson’s Fifth of July on Feb. 19, 7 pm, as part of its PlayWorks 2021 play-reading series.
Alternately funny and moving, it chronicles a group of former student activists and the changes they’ve experienced in their lives and attitudes during the years since leaving college. Fifth of July is the third part of the Talley Family Trilogy. Admission to the reading is free, but patrons must register at thirdavenueplayhouse.com to receive a link. Donations are thoroughly appreciated. A live talkback with the cast and director will follow the reading.
