TAP to Give Away 1,600 Tickets Through Door County Libraries

Third Avenue PlayWorks (TAP) is offering a new ticket-accessibility program for the 2022 season at the new Kane Theatre, under the artistic direction of Jacob Janssen. Partnering with all eight Door County Library branches and the Door County Historical Museum, the Checkout TAP program will distribute more than 1,600 free tickets across the county for people to check out, just like a library book. 

It works like this: Each day that TAP has a performance, any library-card holder can “check out” a pass on a first-come, first-served basis and redeem the pass at TAP for two free tickets to that day’s performance. Individuals may participate only once per year to ensure that everyone has access to the program.
