A milestone has been reached at Door Peninsula Winery: 50 years in business creating and selling an extensive variety of locally-produced wines. The winery opened in 1974 when it began selling its foundational product – a sweet cherry wine. Over time, Door Peninsula expanded its selection to include special occasion wines using locally grown fruit, and varietal and blended wines made from grapes sourced from the West Coast. Door Peninsula Winery is located at 5806 state Hwy 42 in Sturgeon Bay.
