Included are writing with Wisconsin author Jerry Apps and poet Robin Chapman, Dr. Roger Kuhns will bring the geologic history of the Niagara Escarpment alive, and naturalist Paul Regnier will teach the basics of birding. Learn to draw, paint with pastel, acrylic or watercolor, fine-tune your photography and iPhone-ography skills, “paint” landscapes with fabric, enhance your singing ability, or learn to utilize perennial plants in your garden while considering cost and maintenance issues. Perhaps the age-old beauty of bonsai peaks your interest? Wood turning, woodworking and carving classes will create beautiful handcrafted pieces. Handmade treasure boxes allow you to play with paper, or use multi-media techniques to create a unique collage, frame a small mirror using various glass fusing and copper treatment techniques.
