The Clearing Introduces Workshop Programs

The Clearing Folk School introduces this year’s line-up of one, two and three-day summer and fall Workshop Program classes. They are offering 33 exciting classes beginning on June 11.

The classes include writing with Wisconsin author Jerry Apps and Wisconsin’s first poet laureate Ellen Kort, deciphering the geologic history of the Niagara Escarpment with Dr. Roger Kuhns, learning to paint with acrylic or watercolor, enhancing photography and iPhoneography skills, “painting” landscapes with fabric, playing with the paper arts, enhancing free-motion quilting skills, and learning to utilize gilding techniques in your acrylic painting. Also, The Clearing will again offer an opportunity to garden with nationally syndicated television and radio gardening expert Melinda Myers.
