The Clearing Starts Winter Classes

Begin the year and refresh your spirit by learning something new this winter at The Clearing. Registration is currently open for The Clearing Folk School’s winter classes. Join fellow participants in snowshoeing, painting, woodworking, bread making, writing, or discussing intriguing subjects. More than 100 classes are offered in January and February in the arts, fine crafts, humanities and nature studies.

In addition to a wide variety of classes, the Winter Program features an amazing group of volunteer instructors who generously share their time, along with their considerable talent, for the benefit of the community.

Winter Program classes start Jan. 7 and end March 1. For class details and descriptions visit http://www.theclearing.org. Catalogs are also available at the Jens Jensen Visitor Center, located at 12171 Garrett Bay Road in Ellison Bay. The visitor center is open Monday through Friday, 8 am – 4 pm.

Registrations are accepted in person, via mail, fax or phone; classes are filled on a first come, first registered basis, as space permits.
