Gallery Forty Two will hold its first art and music jam of the 2009 season on Saturday, June 20 from 2 – 4 pm. Lee Tomboulian, jazz improvisation instructor at Lawrence University Conservatory of Music, will be the guest musician improvising jazz while gallery owner Tim Nyberg paints to the music.

“It’s always great doing the art and music with Lee – he starts to improvise his music to the paintings that I’ve been improvising to his music,” Nyberg explains.
