“The Glass Menagerie” Performances Begin at TAP

The opening night performance of The Glass Menagerie, by Tennessee Williams, is slated for June 26 at 7:30 pm at Third Avenue Playhouse (TAP). The play will be performed through July 19, but the opening performance will benefit Ministry Door County Medical Center Dental Clinic; a portion of all ticket sales will be donated to the clinic.

Williams is the Pulitzer and Tony Award winning playwright of A Streetcar Named Desire, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Sweet Bird of Youth. The Glass Menagerie was his first popular success and launched his brilliant career.

The cast includes: Kay Allmand, Claire Morkin, Ryan Schabach, and Ryan Patrick Shaw.

The Glass Menagerie will be performed Wednesday through Sunday at 7:30 pm, and also at 2 pm on Sundays. A special performance will be held on July 2 at 7:30 pm. There is no performance on July 4.
