“The Glass Menagerie” On Stage at TAP

The Stage Door Theatre Company, the professional theatre troupe in residence at the Third Avenue Playhouse presents its first production of the 2013 summer/fall season, Tennessee Williams’ The Glass Menagerie. This production features an original musical score by its director James Valcq, composer of The Spitfire Grill and the current American Folklore Theater production of Victory Farm.

The cast includes: Ryan Schabach, Kay Allmand, Ryan Patrick Shaw, and Claire Morkin.

The Glass Menagerie will be performed Wednesday through Sunday at 7:30 pm, and also at 2 pm on Sundays.

Tickets are $22 general admission, $10 students, and $5 children.

There are spaces still available for upcoming StageKids workshops. The following classes are available: Introduction to Musical Theatre (July 15); Introduction to Theatre (Aug. 5 & 12); Introduction to Theatre (Sept. 21 & 28 and Oct. 5, 12, & 19); and Adult Improvisation (Sept. 23 & 30).

Professional actors and directors teach all the classes. Fees are $20 per workshop, or $15 for four or more sessions.
