Theatre Lab Begins at TAP

StageKids’s Theatre Lab for middle and high school students began on Jan. 22. For six weeks, students will meet twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays working with professionals from the Stage Door Theatre Company.

The final class on March 1 will be a public performance by lab students performing pieces worked over the course of the six-week lab. The performance will be filmed and all students will receive a copy of the performance.

Sessions are held on Wednesdays from 4 – 6 pm and Saturdays from 12 – 2 pm. Tuition is $125, scholarships available. To register call 920.743.1760 or stop by Third Avenue Playhouse at 239 N. Third Avenue in Sturgeon Bay between 12 – 5 pm, Tuesday through Friday.

On Feb. 1 at 7:30 pm, Third Avenue Playhouse welcomes Billy Jonas to the stage. His upbeat, engaging presence encourages active audience participation.

Tickets are $25 general admission, $10 students 12 – 24, and $5 for children younger than 11. For every general admission ticket purchased at regular price, you will receive one child’s ticket for free.
