Tlachac-Toonen Receives Children’s Book Award

Story Monsters has announced the winners of the 2020 Royal Dragonfly Book Awards: a global competition that honors excellence in literature and book marketing, recognizing works in 71 genre categories. 

A Firefly Tale, by local author and illustrator Janet Tlachac-Toonen, earned a first-place award in the Children’s Picture Book Ages 6 and Up category. Her cover art for the book also received an honorable mention.
