New True North Real Estate Office Has Rich History

True North Real Estate, LLC, has relocated their offices to the historic Seventh Day Adventist Church at the heart of Fish Creek.

“After eight successful years in business, we were ready to commit to purchasing a home for our company,” said Brian Reinhardt, True North partner. “We had long admired this building and location, and when the opportunity came along, we jumped at it.”

When making renovations, True North preserved the historic nature of the property, which was originally built in 1876 on land purchased from Asa Thorp, Fish Creek’s first settler. New arched windows maintain the design of the originals, and the foundation and roof were replaced to ensure the building will last for generations to come.

“We’re proud of how well we were able, along with our fantastic contractors from Ahnapee Construction, to keep the look and feel of an old church,” said Jacinda Duffin, True North partner.  “It was important to us to keep it as crisp, clean and simple as possible – in keeping with the Adventists’ original vision. We are mindful of our place in local history and the fact that this building will remain a living part of our community.”

The new office is located at 9402 Hill Street, at the corner of Hill Street and Bluff Lane.
