Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hosts Rogue Theater Performance

Rogue Theater brings the powerful show Policy to the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Ephraim for a single performance Feb. 7 at 4 pm. Policy, written by Anthony Munos De Mesa, translated by Phyllis Zatlin, directed by Henry Timm, starring Lola DeVillers and Stuart Champeau, had its English world premiere in November at The Depot Performing Arts Center in Sturgeon Bay.

Father Damian (Champeau) who is in charge of the Catholic school and Esther (DeVillers) the insurance agent, who for some dozen years handled policies for the diocese, meet on several occasions. Father Damian reviews the school’s insurance policy with Esther, whose son attends the school. In their episodic cat-and-mouse game, the priest wants to add two new clauses to the policy; confidentiality and a definition of sexual abuse of minors as a work place accident.

Tickets are $15 and a portion of proceeds will be given to the UU.
