United Way Makes Last Push Toward Fundraising Goal

With only a week to go in the annual United Way of Door County fundraising campaign, the effort remains about 92 percent of the way toward the community need of $650,000.

“As of Monday, we’re at $600,891.69 or 92 percent of our target,” said Amy Kohnle, executive director of the United Way of Door County. “It’s now or never for this year’s campaign. We are asking everyone to consider donating – or even increasing their 2020 pledge – on behalf of our neighbors.  We are extremely grateful as we are on track to have another record setting campaign for United Way of Door County.  However, it is not enough to meet all of the needs of our friends and neighbors who will benefit through our strategic partner programs. Gifts/pledges of all sizes will make a difference. Thank you!”

The campaign raises funds on behalf of nearly 30 operated by 18 nonprofit organizations that provide services to Door County residents.
