Jacksonport Craft Cottage Gifts features fall fiber art by Lynn. Her colorful handcrafted wall quilts are all hand-pieced using the paper piecing method. This method allows the artist to create soft sculpture pieces using very small decorative fabrics to create more fine detail in each original piece created. The artist pays close attention to detail and creates many one-of-a-kind pieces for Jacksonport Craft Cottage Gifts.

Lynn enjoys creating pieces with Door County in mind – the seasons, sailboats, birds, florals, cherries, water themes and animal themes. Lynn also enjoys the challenge of more detailed traditional quilt patterns. She does miniature designs and many full wall-sized hangings and baby quilts. Her work is very colorful and eye-catching in a variety of sizes. Lynn embellishes her work with buttons, jewelry, ribbon and accent stitching by hand.

All are available in very limited quantities at Jacksonport Craft Cottage Gifts on Highway 57 in Jacksonport. These will also be featured, along with many handcrafted fall themed gifts, at the upcoming Amish Quilt & Craft Show held at Mr. G’s Hall Oct. 8 – 11, 9 am – 5 pm daily.
