UU Gallery Hosts Connolly Portrait-Photography Exhibit

During September, the Unitarian Universalist (UU) Fellowship of Door County’s gallery will host Connections: The Beauty and Commonality of Humanity, a portrait-photography exhibit featuring the work of Dennis M. Connolly. It presents the human beauty and dignity that prevail, regardless of people’s life circumstances.

Connolly joined the U.S. Air Force and served in England, where his childhood photography explorations were encouraged by winning a Kodak European contest. After establishing his career in dental care, he discovered the importance of photography while traveling with health-care teams to Central America, and subsequently with photography groups to many remote areas.

The UU Gallery, 10341 Water St. (Hwy 42) in north Ephraim, is free and open to the public Tuesday- Friday, 1-4 pm; and Sunday, 11 am – 12 pm.
