Southern Door’s Griffin Slezewski wrestled his first home match Dec. 17, 11 months after being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. Slezewski, a junior with a 9-3 record who wrestles at 132 pounds, won both of his matches via a pin and a forfeit. He also placed sixth in the Battle of the Bay wrestling meet on Dec. 14.
