Viking Girls Lose Two Games in Two Days

Gibraltar’s girls basketball team extended its losing streak to five games after a pair of road losses last weekend.

The Vikings fell Friday in Packerland Conference action at Oconto, 62-39.

Andie Schar led Gibraltar with 13 points. Mikala Gorham added 10 points.

On Saturday, the Vikings lost a non-conference game to Laona/Wabeno, 62-36.

Gorham was Gibraltar’s only player in double figures with 12 points.

The Vikings, whose season record stands at 4-7 in the conference and 6-10 overall, next host a league game Tuesday against Peshtigo, the last team Gibraltar defeated.
