Volunteer with Friends of Crescent Beach

The Friends of Crescent Beach is seeking volunteers to help with habitat restoration on the south end of Crescent Beach in Algoma.

Volunteers will be involved in removing invasive species, planting and nurturing native species and learning about the value of native plants in the habitat. Work days will be held alternating Tuesday mornings and evenings through the fall.

A meet and greet will be held May 24, 4:30-6 pm, at the Algoma Visitor Center to get more information about volunteer opportunities and to sign up. Snacks and beverages are provided.
