Volunteers Needed for Sturgeon Bay Fine Art Fair and Flowerpot Adoption

Are you in town for Memorial Day weekend and have some time to spare? Volunteer your time and help with the 18th annual Sturgeon Bay Fine Art Fair. The Fine Art Fair, held at Sunset Park in Sturgeon Bay, is scheduled for May 28, 10 am – 5 pm, and May 29, 10 am – 4 pm. Volunteers are needed to staff a variety of areas including the raffle tent, registration booth and family art activity area. Help is also needed for set-up Friday afternoon and clean-up Sunday evening. Shifts are two to three hours. The SBVC is also looking for help to beautify the streets through flowerpot adoption. By adopting a flowerpot, individuals will purchase and plant flowers in a sidewalk flower pot. General care and maintenance after plants are planted will be done by the City of Sturgeon Bay. The Sturgeon Bay Garden Club will tour the city and judge the flowerpots after they are all planted.
