Sturgeon Bay Hosts 12th Annual Sturgeon Bay Fine Art Fair

Masterpieces, music, and murals will be the order of the day as the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center (SBVC) presents the 12th Annual Fine Art Fair, May 29 and 30 from 10 am – 4 pm each day at Sunset Park, located at the corner of Third Avenue and Florida Street.

The Sturgeon Bay Fine Art Fair is part of Door County’s month-long “Festival of Blossoms.” The juried art show features original works of nearly 100 Wisconsin and Midwest artists in a variety of media including sculpture, painting, jewelry, ceramics, fiber, and photography. The artists this year include some that have been with the event each year as well as many first time exhibitors; all artwork is for sale.

Entertainment is also scheduled both days, including children’s entertainer Randy Peterson, strolling entertainers Dan Ognavic, John Contratto, and clown TC Hatter. Children activities will include painting one of the many 50-foot murals and designing paper hats. A variety of food and beverages will be available. The popular “artwork raffle” will feature a large selection of items from art fair participants.
