Voter Registration Drive Continues

Have you moved since the last election? Has it been four years since you voted? Are you new to Wisconsin? Will you turn 18 before or on November 4? If any of these things are true, prepare for the November election and avoid long lines at the polls by registering early.

Special Registration Deputies and members of the League of Women Voters of Door County Barbara Graul and Susan Kohout have been and will continue to conduct voter registration drives throughout the county during the next few weeks. Because Special Registration Deputies cannot register voters after October 15, the final event will be held Tuesday, October 7 from 2 – 4 pm at Lakeshore Community Action Program (CAP) at 131 S 3rd Ave., in Sturgeon Bay

After October 15, prospective voters must register with their municipal clerk or at the polls on election day.

Prospective voters must bring their Wisconsin Drivers License or a Wisconsin ID to use in completing the application. If they have neither item, they can bring the last four digits of their social security number.
