Waffle Breakfast to Benefit Namur Belgian Foundation

The Namur Belgian Heritage Foundation will host a waffle breakfast on June 23, 9 am – 1 pm, at the Belgian Heritage Center, located at 1255 County Road DK, in Brussels. The all-you-can-eat breakfast includes waffles, trippe (a Belgian sausage), scrambled eggs, potatoes and a beverage.

The cost is $8/adults, $4/kids 4 – 10-years-old, and free for kids three and younger. Proceeds support the Belgian Heritage Center and its mission of preserving and promoting the unique Belgian culture, history and architecture of this area.

At the breakfast, historic photographs from the Belgian community will be scanned and added to the collection. With each photograph the owner should include as much identifying information as possible, including names of people, location, and the approximate year.
