Whitefish Dunes State Park of Door County Hosts Gyote Event

Saturday, March 19 from 10 am – 2 pm, Whitefish Dunes State Park will host a fish-printing event in the Nature Center Auditorium. Offered by the Friends of Whitefish Dunes, participants will learn the ancient art of Gyote (fish-printing), and create wearable works of art. They may drop in any time between 10 am and 1:30 am, with a 100 percent cotton item. Clothing will be available for purchase at the event.

Also, during the month of March, all books in the bookstore are 15 percent off. All guidebooks are included in the sale.

Whitefish Dunes State Park is located at 3275 Clark Lake Road (county WD), on the Lake Michigan shoreline south of Jacksonport. All programs are free to the public unless noted; a park vehicle sticker is required.
