Whitetails, Unlimited Funds Exclosure Cage Repairs at Peninsula State Park

Whitetails, Unlimited recently funded exclosure cage repairs at Peninsula State Park. In 1992, three deer exclosure cages were constructed in Peninsula State Park, and after the 2011 windstorm, they were in need of repairs.

Exclosure cages are designed as an experimental “control” that prevents deer from browsing vegetation and helps biologists make comparisons between landscapes.

Whitetails Unlimited provided grant money for repairs.
