Winter Wine and Cherry Fest at Lautenbach’s

The annual Winter Wine and Cherry Fest at Orchard Country Winery and Market on Feb. 7 from 10 am – 5 pm will include complimentary wine and specialty food product tasting featuring the popular tart Montmorency cherry in celebration of National Cherry Month and an assortment of food and bakery items to purchase. The popular winter festival highlights the annual Cherry Pit Spit Competition. The contest begins at 1:30pm, and is open to all ages. The fun continues with scenic horse-drawn sleigh rides and arts and crafts activities. Orchard Country Winery and Market is also a pick up and drop off location for free trolley rides into downtown Fish Creek. “Our festival is a great chance for families to get together and enjoy some winter fun in Door County,” says Carrie Lautenbach-Viste, of Orchard Country Winery and Market.
