Wise Women Collaborate

On Aug. 29 at 7 pm, the Woodwalk Concert Series will present the Wise Women singer/songwriter/dance circle.

Wise Women Songwriting Circle has been part of this concert series from its conception. It is a wonderful way for four women to share their original music while on the same stage, performing solo and together, often with fun collaborations happening spontaneously.

This year’s amazing mix of women songwriters include Door County artists Jeanne Kuhns, Marybeth Mattson, Dorothy Scott and Chicago’s Jenny Bienemann. Each of these women brings their own soulful musical style, with a great diversity of vocal talents that work so well with their original compositions.

Door County’s Andria Nikoupolis-Weliky, fresh from opening her new dance studio Dancin’ On the Door, will perform belly dance to her music and some of the original songs.
