Work (Play) Day at The Ridges

The volunteers at the Ridges Sanctuary always strive to make work fun. Join them at their Work (Play) Day on Saturday, October 3 from 8:30 am – noon.

Members and non-members of all ages are invited to help with a variety of indoor and outdoor projects at The Ridges. Come help, come supervise, or come enjoy the company! There are lots of tasks to do for those will all levels of expertise. Volunteers can drop in at any time and spend as much time helping out as they wish.

Volunteer tasks include wood chip hauling, trail checking, and general maintenance before The Ridges hunkers down for the winter.

If the social aspect of the day isn’t enough, The Ridges staff will serve great chili and brownies, and free wheelbarrow rides will also be offered as an added incentive.
